The Fontaine St-Michel is one of the iconic sites in the Latin Quarter, and being able to take new photos during Heritage Days weekend on 14-15Sept was a treat.
The fountain stands on a square that is the meeting point for the students who attend the many schools, universities and colleges of the district.
It is always crowded as tourists join in, and there is a nice atmosphere about it.
The fountain was built during the 19th century when the district was redeveloped by Haussmann.
