The Pont Louis-Philippe connects the Quai Bourbon on the Ile St Louis to the Quai de l’Hôtel de Ville on the Right Bank.
It was named after King Louis-Philippe who laid the first stone of the first bridge, a wooden suspension bridge, on July 29, 1833.
