This is another series of flowers from the garden...the pink ones this time!
I don't know all the English names, but I am sure that you will able to work out their names in your own language.
I don't know the name of this plant above, I could check one of my books though, but not knowing the name doesn't stop me from enjoying them as they are so attractive and original.
I know that this is a Foxglove as I adore them and always had them in the garden. They are supposed to be poisonous...the good point about this is that the snails don't snack on them! ;-)
Lupins are another of my favoutite flowers as they come in so many colours and are always very effective in a flowerbed. Foxgloves and lupins are very popular in France.
These little chaps, I think they are geraniums, have done a fantastic job, there were in full bloom for most of June and are very easy to grow. I like their very subtle pinky-white colour.
Carnations are so understated yet so elegant and have the most amazing fragrance, they are easy to grow and are very resilient. They are also one of my favourites in the garden. In fact I quite like traditional flower species. Thye have be ignored for years as considered too "common" but they find their way back in most gardens in the last few years. I always had them in my garden!
